6" Mounting Plate (No Lip) is designed for new construction rough-in installations of 6" slim panel and retrofit LED lights. It allows precise positioning before drywall installation, ensuring clean and accurate ceiling cutouts.

This plate is installed between ceiling joists before drywall. After installation, drywall is applied and cut using the plate as a guide, allowing quick and easy fixture installation.

Installation Process
