U.S. Orders – Duties, Taxes & Import Fees

For orders shipped to the United States, the buyer is responsible for any applicable customs duties, tariffs, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by U.S. customs authorities, government agencies, or the shipping carrier.

These fees are not included in the product price or shipping charges paid at checkout and may be collected separately upon or before delivery.

By placing an order for delivery to the United States, the customer acknowledges and agrees to be responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, and other import-related charges.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated based on the delivery region, product type, shipping method, and order amount. The applicable shipping charge will be displayed at checkout.

General Products

The following rates apply to products that are not classified as heavy, oversized, freight-only, or pickup-only.

Heavy and Oversized Products

The following rates apply to selected products that require additional handling because of their weight, dimensions, packaging, or shipping requirements.

Important Shipping Information

• All shipping charges are displayed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
• The final shipping rate is calculated according to the order amount, delivery region, product type, and selected shipping method.
• Delivery estimates begin after the order has been processed and collected by the carrier.
• Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days.
• Business days exclude weekends and statutory holidays.
• Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Remote locations may require additional transit time.
• Orders containing products from different shipping categories may have combined shipping charges at checkout.

Non-Shippable and Freight-Only Products

Certain products cannot be shipped through standard parcel services because of their weight, length, dimensions, or packaging requirements. These may include selected 8-foot or 10-foot products, aluminum channels, long linear fixtures, bulk wire, palletized products, and other oversized items.

Products identified as pickup-only are available for pickup at our Scarborough location. Custom freight delivery may be available upon request. Please contact us before ordering if you require a freight quotation.

5-Year Warranty

Many LED lighting products sold by Can Lighting Inc. include a manufacturer warranty of up to 5 years. Warranty coverage may vary depending on the product brand, model, and manufacturer policy.

Warranty Coverage

• Warranty applies to manufacturer defects under normal use.
• Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
• Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, physical damage, water damage, power surge, or incorrect voltage connection.
• Labour, installation, removal, and re-installation costs are not covered unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.
