120V Dusk-to-Dawn Photocell Sensor
Automatically control outdoor lighting with the Votatec JL-106AV Photoelectric Sensor. The photocell turns connected lights on when ambient light falls at dusk and switches them off when daylight returns, eliminating the need for manual operation or a separate timer.
The adjustable swivel head allows the sensor window to be aimed toward natural daylight, while the 1/2″ threaded conduit mount provides a secure installation on compatible electrical boxes, junction boxes and outdoor lighting equipment.

Installation Guidelines
- Install the photocell in a compatible 1/2″ threaded opening.
- Position the sensor window where it can detect natural daylight.
- Do not aim the sensor directly toward the light fixture it controls.
- Avoid locations affected by headlights, reflected light or temporary shadows.
- Allow for the built-in delay when testing the photocell after installation.
Important: Turn off power at the circuit breaker before installation. Wiring must follow the supplied wiring diagram and all applicable electrical codes. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
