Votatec 300W LED Dimmer Switch
Control larger dimmable LED lighting loads with the Votatec BAK-004G dimmer switch. Rated for up to 300W of dimmable LED lighting or 600W of incandescent and halogen lighting, it is suitable for both single-pole and 3-way applications.
Digital dimming technology provides smooth brightness adjustment across a wide range of compatible LED lamps and fixtures. The decorator-style control features a large paddle for on/off operation and a separate vertical slider for brightness adjustment.
No neutral wire is required, making this dimmer suitable for many existing residential and commercial wall boxes where a neutral conductor is not present.

How to Use
- Press the large paddle to turn the connected lights on or off.
- Move the slider upward to increase brightness.
- Move the slider downward to reduce brightness.
Single-Pole and 3-Way Applications
For a single-pole installation, the dimmer controls the light from one wall location. For a typical 3-way installation, the Votatec dimmer is installed at one location and a compatible standard 3-way switch is installed at the other location.
The dimmer controls brightness, while either location can be used to switch the lights on or off. Do not install two standard dimmers on the same 3-way circuit unless the control system is specifically designed for multi-location dimming.
Compatibility Notice
Use only with lamps and fixtures identified as dimmable. LED dimming performance can vary depending on the lamp, fixture driver, number of lamps and total connected load. Some LED products may have a higher minimum dimming level or may exhibit flickering when paired with an incompatible dimmer.
Add together the rated input wattage of all connected lamps or fixtures. The total LED load must not exceed 300W. Do not calculate the load using incandescent-equivalent wattage printed on LED bulb packaging.
Installation Notice
Turn off power at the circuit breaker and verify that the circuit is de-energized before installation. Installation must be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable electrical codes.
Carefully confirm the line, load, traveller and ground conductors before wiring. Although this model does not require a neutral connection, any neutral conductors already present in the electrical box should remain properly connected as required.
